Laboratory Services
CAS has over 2,000 square feet of laboratory space in our building where we offer a full range of laboratory processing and analysis. We have established a tracking process in order to process multiple projects simultaneously and follow materials from the field to processing, cataloging, analysis, and curation. Our in-house artifact specialists offer a wide range of skills to meet a variety of analytical needs, while our experienced lab technicians can quickly and accurately prepare artifact and records collections for final curation. We have agreements with outside laboratories that provide faunal analysis, radiocarbon dating, residue studies and other specialized analyses.
