Kelsey Nichols is the Office Manager for the Center for Archphoto of Kelsey hiking, sitting on ledge with alpine lake and mountains behind heraeological Studies at Texas State University, where she oversees the day-to-day administrative operations. Her work spans budgeting and financial management, purchasing, travel coordination, hiring and payroll, and supporting the administrative needs of research and grant-related projects, staff, and students.

Kelsey holds a Master of Science in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology. She has worked at Texas State University for two years, with experience supporting academic units and coordinating with departments across the university. Her role has allowed her to become familiar with the wide range of archaeological research, collections, and fieldwork that CAS supports. She brings her background in psychology and administration to her work, with a particular interest in supporting people, problem solving, and keeping the behind-the-scenes operations of CAS moving smoothly.

She enjoys being the person behind the scenes, making sure everyone has what they need to support the interesting work at CAS.
